Having always had old vehicles I hate the first time I take one in for the MOT. Usually find it has developed loads of faults since the seller put an MOT on it, I always suspect they got a mate to test it and ignore stuff. But, this time my van went straight through, must have been an honest seller or they have no mates. Not sure what to do this weekend, expected to be trawling the web for spares and grovelling under the van.

I always think of it as worse than going to the dentist :-)
I am sure you will find something else to do lol

I'd rather go to the dentist, my van recently had it's 1st MOT I hated it.

Why do punters get so so wound up about a mot ? There’s a lot of other things more important and I don’t mean Covid 19 . Health /family comes to mind

It’s a lovely feeling when it passes like that.
Now it’s up to you to keep it that way!
Treat her to a good wash and wax polish if your at a loose end now.
Or better still, come and do mine!😊👍😂

Deleted, used wrong quote.

Look on the bright side.Mine is based ona commercial vehicle which, once over 10 years old here , require an itv(mot) every 6 months.

No good being healthly if you have no transport,& without one I wouldn't be seeing the family either.

I've had several root canal filling without an injection.

I can vouch for the fact a ruptured gallbladder is worse than the dentist.
