    Hi all,

My name is Gary and I am very new to this campervanning lark. I recently got married to my wonderful wife Hayley and we live near Ripon in North Yorkshire. When we returned from our honeymoon, spontenaity took over and we brought a campervan (well why not).

Result is a 1989 Mercedes 208D with an Elddis Autocirrus coach built body (we named her matilda). She sleeps four but we have converted the sleeper above the cab to accomodate our 3 cats.

She is very reliable and has been no where in her life, only clocking up 54000 miles!!

We've used her once on a weekend in scarborough (just to test her out) and were amazed at how comfortable we were.

Both of us are quite young (me being 28 and my wife being 25) but we are quiet people and love the whole idea of campervanning.

    Thanks for reading

    Gary

Yea gods, go away, you're spoiling our image.

Do you know you've single handedly brought the average age in here below 100.

When we were your age we made a tent out of bracken and twigs, eeeee it were great. It would 'ave been perfect if wi could 've afforded a Thermos to go wi it. 'appen as our old tandem would've stood the extra weight though.

    Hiya , welcome to fun.
Dont be fooled into thinking that motorhomers are a quiet bunch. Thats what we thought.
Some of the members on here will surprise you !
They maybe older than us (and we are in our 40's:Blush: ) but they can party , drink , sing , and stay up later than the best of them :ROFLMAO:
