I have been working on putting together a website for our motorhome travels.

    www.hankthetank.co.uk

Its a long way off finished as I have only managed to put two of our tours on the blog and it took forever. However its been good fun and the total cost was just £5.90 for the domain for 2 years.

The site is built using Microsoft Office live website builder which is free.

    http://www.officelive.com/free-website?xid=c2logo

The domain was registered through Fast Hosts here.

    http://www.fasthosts.co.uk/domains/

You just point the domain at the office live address.

If you can use word and can manipulate your photos you can soon put together something half decent.

Might be useful for any of you wanting to do online blogs etc. What do you think?

Looks pretty good so far. The picture gallery shows some real nice places for others like myself to visit. Thanks for taking the time and providing guidance for others .:thumb:

    Thanks

Its only when you start to put it together that you start to realise just how many places we have been to in less than 3 years.

    Cheers

Absolutely fantastic! What beautiful places you have been to. Unfortunately, I suspect we don't have the time to get to those places but I do miss your avatar of Mont St Michel. We first saw it last year and loved it. ::bigsmile:::bigsmile:

I have updated the blog to include photos of Arran and Flamborough.

God knows when it will be finished. Its taken hours and hours. I have tried to keep the blogs brief but there is so much to go on.

I could go back to the Pre Kontiki days but I would have 18 Scottish Islands to add!

    Thanks

Yes its flipping brilliant and was made for the Swedish Military and supplied by Faculty X. Its no longer available but there is a less powerful version available here http://www.faculty-x.net/NET-WL-usb-cpe2512bg

Reports say its just as good though.

I can pick up wiifi signals up to 4 miles away (line of sight) on a good day but normally 1 to 2 miles.
