In the past when in Spain we've noticed that some campers hang "something" from a nearby tree to distract insects etc, what is it they hang in the tree.

Aren’t those the bags to attract Processionary Moth caterpillars……?

If I need to get rid of the insects in the M'home I just get the Missus to pop outside and they all follow her as she is very attractive to them, as well as myself of course :giggle:

We sometimes make insect traps out of old plastic water bottles with sugar, water and a little vinegar

Some put horny water mix in a bottle that traps wasps

Often wondered if these devices are counter productive.
If they attract insects, hopefully away from your van & kill some of them, do they not attract even more from neighbouring areas so perhaps making the situation worse?
