You may be aware that Wyre Borough Council have allocated the central car park at Fleetwood as an overnight parking place. If you do end up on the Fylde Coast they have now installed outdoor washing and drying machines at the Freeport just up the road. You can wash either 8kg or 18kg of washing then dry it whilst parked on the large car park at Freeport whilst you do some shopping and have a coffee!

I think it’s great that some towns are now allowing overnight parking and washing machines are a bonus. We are way Benin’s Europe for this sort of thing. Let’s hope there are a lot more towns that start to do this. As long as it is monitored.

Good to see that some councils are beginning to see the benefits from providing parking for motorhome's, we have just got to educate a few more
