Hi everyone, since having a hip replacement last year, im miles away from usi ng the handbrakeand cant see situation changing. I am aware of handbrake extenders and have watched the youtube video on how to fit one, seems easy enough. But has anyone actually fitted one and does it work ok. I know this question was asked many years ago. Many thanks.

We had a Ducato JTD 2.8 Maxi PVC and the converters had fitted a swivel seat to a standard height seat base which meant getting to the handbrake was a bit of a stretch, so I fitted a Rare-spares handbrake extender which I did get hung up on a few time when getting out of the van if I was wearing shorts.

New to motorhomes, had a camper van before this.
Rare-spares works fine for us. As mentioned above, caution required when exiting wearing shorts.

I tried the rare spares version and didnt like the way it worked with no ratchet down. Sold mine straightaway.
