Hand brake

I am short and cannot reach the hand brake on my VW 2002 autosleeper clubman
Any ideas for an extension please

I have had both types on previous vans and I preferred the rare spares one ,the Kobran one had a tendency to go up the leg of my shorts as I was exiting the van and led to a few embarrassing incidents
