Motorhoming since 2015......
Last week, we had a few rather large hailstones in Cirencester - there are a couple of dents in the car bonnet (9, actually...), but not really worth bothering with (it’s an oldish car). The ‘van, however......front, roof and sides seem to be ok, but I reckon there are about 100 dents in the rear bodywork. The dents are 5 to 10mm in diameter and about 1mm deep (see photos).

Cosmetically, it doesn’t look too bad, and isn’t really noticeable until pointed out - then you can’t stop seeing them! Any suggestions for removing the dents (is that even possible?!?), or should I leave them well alone.......? :(

Only two options for repair. fill and spray the dents or fit a new panel over the top of the existing one.
With an aluminium bonded construction you can't pull the dents out, for one aluminium stretches secondly it will pull away from the bonded insulation.

I think I’ll leave it as is........or get lots of little stickers to hide the dents!

What do our EU neighbours do? Park cars they care about under cover & not travel if hail is forecast?
They can get golf ball size or bigger hail.
Or is that rare?
I remember a neighbour returning from France with huge dents in his bonnet caused by hail
