Depends!
If its required for an extended warranty- probably
If everything is working as you expect - probably not.
If it's going to be sold - gives buyer some peace of mind and you might get a better price

If you have gas fitted, then yes for your safety, otherwise, because a PVC is more ridged than a Custombuilt so things don’t split,fall off, break etc as much, you just need to go around the van and check that wires are not coming lose that may cause fuses to blow.

I had a habitation service on our Rapido pvc undertaken by our local authorised dealer for the first four years of its life.

Now over five years old, I didn't have one last year, and probably won't this year either.

But I did get caught out when the sealant on the rear roof-light failed, and resulted in a leak - details here:

So our Rapido V68 pvc - which we've had from new - celebrated its 5th birthday last month. During last winter we thought we'd got a condensation issue, with damp at the foot of one of the beds. Although somewhat puzzled, we didn't think too much about it other than improving ventilation by...

I have got the van booked in next week for the other two rooflights to be re-sealed - to my knowledge they aren't leaking, but do look a bit suspect and I don't want to take the chance through the winter and beyond.

Yes I think the gas should be tested and I can do the rest myself, also all dealers are useless I am afraid to say
