Help! I have a 2015 Murvi Morello XL. Yesterday I went to start preparing for going away, turned on the Webasto heater and suddenly all the electrics turned off! I had noted before this happened that my batteries were at 96%. I prodded around a bit without any success then phoned Murvi who were mystified. They said there was no centralised fuse for all of the electrics and suggested I check fuses between the batteries and earth connections etc. I have a mobile mechanic coming out, hopefully this weekend but wondered if any of you have any thoughts or if it has happened to you?

Although you say your batteries are at 96% have you monitored the voltage when the heater starts, they could be dipping too low under load.

Have you by any chance got Lithium batteries, possibly the BMS has cut off the output if the voltage/charge is too low

Thanks, I haven't specifically monitored the voltage when the heater starts but I'm sure I would have noticed as the batteries virtually never go below 90%, and no, unfortunately I haven't got lithium.

Did the power come back? Does it only die when the heater is switched on? If so, like Lenny HB was suggesting, it might be the battery is old and tired and can't take the load.

If the power hasn't come back, even with the heater off, what's the voltage on the battery now?

Try switching the heater back on when you have the engine running, that might rule out the leisure battery condition ?
