Habitation door lock (1 Viewer)

Hi guys, i am having trouble with my doorlock not locking - unlocking with the key. Where the flat piece of metal on the back of the barrel on the outer handle goes into the plastic tube on the inner handle it is slipping past the two raised pieces and not gripping. Does anybody no if i can get this repaired anywhere , being as swift want stupid money for a new one, thanks davey

could try building up the raised 'lugs' with araldite rapid and trimming to size with a stanley knife just before it fully cures.

or remove the lugs and slot the tube in the same place with a hacksaw blade....insert two small steel pins in the slots and araldite in place.
