habitation door keys (1 Viewer)

I have only the one key that does my habitation door garage door water filler gas door and belly lockers .....I've only the one key and I'm having a problem getting spares cut ...key cutters don't seem to be able to get the blanks

It's a mobilvetta euro yacht a class ..anyone have any idea where I can source spares

We had a problem while in France last year and saw a locksmith shop in Honfleur and he quite happily cut us a couple of spares after asking "eez it for zee camping car?" (Sorry about the accent). So it might be worth trying a locksmith/Timpsons over here.

Tried timpsons and they cut me one but doesn't fit ...took it back and they have problems getting blanks ...They have a few ordered to try but not holding much hope ....its a double edged key and for some reason it's causing them difficulty
Tried local caravan shop and they had nothing similar

Going back over there at the end of August so if you can wait and somehow get the profile of the keys and PM it to me I'll try to get a couple of blanks for you.

We only had one habitation door key when we bought our van and i broke it in the lock within a month. Managed to get the broken piece out and tried many high street keycutters without joy then went to guy in Peterborough market who cut me four keys from the two broken pieces and charged me a fiver , stll using same keys now

I had 2 cut at Timpsons for my Hymer, didn't have them in stock so had to take pics of both sides of the broken key. About a week later they had the blanks, cut me2 and worked OK. Hope this helps,

The key dept on tbe 1st floor in Crockets W.Nile st Glasgow does specialized keys. Maybe you could give them a ring.

Got mine from Timsons in Tewksbury and another from Timsons in Chester

Yep timpsons are on the case again they phoned today and said they have blanks they thinks a good match so hopefully

You got me a bit worried how good my locks are ,last week i walked into a bike shop down chip shop alley in Skegness and the guy just cut me two for £7 both work perfect.

Finally got my spare habitation keys cut after 4 failed attempts timpsons found a match so i now have 3 spares just in case

Give the guys their due though they sorted them in the end and didn't charge me for them as I'd been in a total of five times ....
