many many years! since I was a kid
you could possibly get away with dismantling the damaged hinge and replace the broken leaf using the £7.99 one as a donor. that way you keep the ability to use the flyscreen

So, the advice from a Seller of Parts is...... if you’re looking at the door from the Outside, if the Hinge is Left side it’s a left hand Hinge, a Right Hinge if it’s on the Right side ! That £50 hinge on eBay looks like a right hand to
me ???
Anyone think otherwise ?
