habitation door hinge snapped today (1 Viewer)

had a scout about the internet but cant find any spares to replace it. the main part in the middle that broke off is riveted to the frame and the two lugs have an allen screw holding them to the door.
total length 125mm

where can i get one from?? any ideas please

email sent with copy of photo, hopefully they come with something. got a bit of a gap at the top of the door just now!

Last resort, why not take the two broken bits to a local welders and see if they can TIG weld it back together, you might want to remove the plastic end caps first though, probably would only cost you a drink. (y)

This style of hinges fracture due to the hinge pin becoming corroded and bonding on to the aluminium body. The movement is then restricted and the Ali hinge fails through fatigue as it is being bent each time the door moves.
The solution is to keep all hinges well serviced and lubricated, I suggest you check all the rest and give em some love and lubrication before the next fails. On my van all the locker hinges were very tight and showing signs of stress before I got some wd40 on them.

They look similar but smaller than ours.. we had a problem with one last year and eventually got a replacement from trigano.
Ours also had the flyscreen door on them and started to look like yours.. it back me stiffer and then seized. It's got a (I think) polyurethane center which jammed.. pita tbh
