Habitat door (1 Viewer)

Hi, I've got a Autotrail Cheyenne 2006, when I lock the cab door with a key, the cab doors lock and the habitat door mechanism locks( taken door cover off) but when I open the door handle on the habitat door it opens when it should be locked, any one got any ideas please?

Are you sure the latches are fully closed before locking? Possibly try activating the latches by hand with door open, the lock and try handle.

Hab door's can be strange things.
Spray everything lock wise with WD 40.
Check the padlock symbol on the outer door sometimes lock and unlock are opposite to the symbol.
Check { as above advice } for broken springs.
Sometimes the door has be shut firmly to activate the mechanism, if you are too gentle closing the door the latch won't latch.
