The hab roof lining has popped a few fixing out and I've noticed that they have ridged grips on but the important part where they actually are in the board is smooth

Does anyone have any suggestions to make them hold or do it look for alternative fixers

They look like ring shank nails and they might have never been in the baton that they should be fixed to. Just been hanging there till now

Oh I see. I guess the hole got bigger with vibration etc then now it won’t hold in the insulation. Would injection of a filler or glue do it, no idea just guessing.

This is where I'm now thinking of heading that way
BUT
which glue/filler type will work bearing in mind the insulation sheets above the roof

this is where I need help - not using the local workshop after they failed in proving just what they did on my service earlier this year

If you could find out what type of insulation it is , may be from who made the van. Then you won’t use a glue that might possibly melt or react with the insulation. So many different glues etc now I would not know.

Would love to contact the builder but it's a 2007 Lunar and the company is now in it's third re-incarnation - when we contacted them last for some thing they had no idea on circuit diagrams ,drawings or anything else , This is why I opened the question to the collective hive of the Funsters

Could you make the roof holes slightly larger, put in some gripping wall plugs and then put screws in with head caps?
