Hab door opening handle stiff

Just got new Hymer and the latch release handle on the outside is extremely stiff to pull open. It is not the lock but the door handle. So bad my wife cannot get the door open at all. Is there a simple fix or is it back to the dealers.

As its new, I would take it to the dealer. There is no wear, so it must be faulty or badly fitted.

Definitely back to the dealers. Problems with hab doors and locking mechanisms are not unusual, but can be expensive to fix.
Get it done under warranty.

It can be the door rubbers loading up the catch because its new see if it is easier to open by pushing the door to compress the rubbers and then operate the catch, if so it will get better in time, or you can ask the dealer to adjust the catch and then again when they compress with age.
