Hab Door lock problem (1 Viewer)

The lock on my door is a Zadi type G18A182 and the problem is the exterior handle turns a square shaft which is attached to a striker arm which operates the lock.
The striker arm is plastic and has snapped on the square shaft. so the door cannot be opened from the outside.
I have tried gluing, but not strong enough.
I have tried numerous places but no luck. The broken piece is only a 10p part, but if I have to buy the outer assembly so be it.
Can anyone help as the only way into the van at the moment is though the cab, as once the door is closed it self locks.

anyone with basic metalwork skills could make a replacement from brass or aluminium. the replacement would be so much stronger:thumb:

I had the same problem on my Laika. I finally found this firm in Poland and bought the whole handle for £15:99 including postage here in the UK they wanted anything from £55 to £111. They may not have the one you want but is worth a look.

even better you could give him the broken parts so he can take measurements and compare directly
