Hi my moho is still stuck in storage and i will need to replace the habitation battery as it will be dead. I wanted to buy one now but dont know what size as nothing in the handbook any ideas? Burstener ixeo 2012

It probably came with one of these, although the carrier tray it sits on/in will accept two side by side.
I would guess they/it will have been changed by now. There are better buys now.

Experience? - I bought two of these - but everybody has their personal favourites

If the hab is going to be dead then the engine battery must be also ?

As gus-lopez said, why would the hab battery be dead if the control panel is off... the cab battery may be dead as that may run stuff such as alarm and ancillaries.... 🤔

Sorry did not see any quote in thread from above from Gus Lopez...
Because hab battery flat why does that automatically mean cab battery will also be flat

Why would the hab battery ,if panel turned off be dead? If it is then it follows that the engine battery must be as it usually has a drain from alarm,immobiliser, etc;etc;

I posted at the same time as you so I did not see your post referring to your “why” no offence intended.... as I know how gus-lopez talks I was just filling in The missing bits for him..😃

if the panel is off there should be no drain from the hab batteries... but if it’s been standing for some time then all batteries could be dead... it’s more likely on a motorhome for the cab batteries to die as it will have some kind of drain from something such as radio memory for instance...

Smiffy.. Absolutely no problem.. I could just not make any sense of the threads as they were..
Bit like reading a book only to find pages missing..
Hay ho...all the fun of the forum😁😁😁

The engine battery was on its way out before lock down so i new that would need replacing. The van hasnt moved since end of February with no charge to it so i am presuming the hab battery will be flat,and therefore require replacement. Won’t no until i can get into storage hopefully 4th July
