Got distracted whilst trying to reverse the motorhome in my school car park by some pesky kids. Took my eye off the reversing camera briefly .......put a dent in the bumper of our P.E teachers car. Feeling very sad and silly. :(

Never mind the Teachers car, was the motorhome ok?

Very embarrassing, sorry to hear that.:crying1:

No, he wasn't in the car at the time. Very minor bump but it is a 14 plate car! He doesn't actually know yet as I reported it to our receptionist at school who has emailed him but he obviously hasn't checked his mail and hasn't noticed it as it is passenger side rear bumper. I couldn't leave a note as it was absolutely hammering down. Looks like an insurance job as it is a colour coded bumper. Poor bloke only passed his test in September so it is his first car car is I feel really terrible.

Oh no it gets worse!:crying::doh:

Accidents can happen to anyone. The main thing is no one was hurt, though your pocket might be a little.

you might be pleasantly surprised how cheaply bumper repairs can be done, presuming the other car owner will let you

good luck

After a minor dink, a wise older man told me,

So what it's only metal, no one got hurt, and that's why you pay all that insurance premium for, to cover accidents.
Just after my wife ripped the front of her dad's new to him car, caught it on the front fence while reversing.

Would not worry, that's just life, the ONLY sure way not to have an accident is to lock it away and park it up, the rest is just statistics

Sorry to hear this done it myself with a car you do get over it
Young lad 2 doors away reversed down the side of my old Land Rover did £1 k damage to his new to him micra ( had just passed his test few weeks earlier) my Land Rover steel bumper barely removed the hammerite paint
We solved the problem he bought me a beer

There needs to be a rule about that sort of thing

I could have gone into spasms and shock with the amount of laugher that sprang forth from my loins

Love the first picture, but good job it was a boy bear!! :Eeek::Eeek:

I was going to shove a size 10 left black army issue up my butt and call myself Bootles, but I couldn't get anyone to take the picture and it nearly killed me taking a selfie :rofl:

just down the road and cheaper and quicker than involving the insurers is oops

other SMART repairers including chips away about too. last bumper i had de-dented was under £100 and took about 15 minutes with a heatgun and expert hands. looked perfect like new
