Hi
What are the dates likely to be?
Thanks :)
Will cover the New Year period.See previous New Year 2016 posts.
As before, you would phone and book your own dates.

Spoken with Paul today re prices for next year. Campsite will hopefully remain the same as last year, (but they are updating showers and toilet block early next year)
Festive Meal, Disco and Gaming tables :) £30 per head at present.
Please state your interest as he will be contacting me later on after Xmas.
Thanks Jude

THIS THREAD IS TITLED 2018. THE QUOTE ABOVE QUITE CLEARLY SAYS NEXT YEAR !!!!!!
The information referred to is page 3 of Rallies and Meets. re:- the rally that was held then.
If you read it you will understand that it was a Meet not a Rally .
That is all the info I have at present. !!

No need to shout :(
I too was not sure if there was some other thread giving more information but now see as you say a meet rather than a rally there won’t be.
Edit to say that this is listed in ‘Rally chat’ so no wonder I was not alone in thinking this

Think you will find it is posted under rally, planning, discussion and chat :(
Which is what I thought we were doing
I think you have missed the point that by not answering direct questions and referring to ambiguous posts you have added to the confusion yet only you have the details requested.
Maybe you should read back your replies and see why some are starting to say they wouldn’t attend.
I also would not want to attend an event that the host appears to be deliberately unhelpful.

Sorry to use a big word, but I think the OP is deliberately obfuscating the info that we all require to make an informed decision and I wonder why that is being done. Are there a select group that are intended to be attracted to this and the rest of us are going to get too little information for us to decide?

Like others, I found the first post together with the 3rd very confusing. "Next Year" and "New Year Period" could easily be construed as being from Ist Jan 2018 onwards for a few days, but it could also be 1st Jan 2019 for a few days, or maybe 31st Dec 2018 onwards for a few days. Also, I was not initially convinced that the title "Grouse and Claret" was a location, it could hae been a description of the proposed activity.

Yes I must agree with some of the other comments.

For someone who has not rallied with fun the thread is very cryptic and confusing, how the devil would you know where it was being held.

Who would eat grouse with marmite?

Ran one over last week(a grouse, not a jar of marmite), lovely for lunch and yes I did take grouse and marmite sandwiches to work the following day, very nice.
A Benefit of living high up on the moors.

A tip, spread the marmite very thinly so you still get the grouse taste.

Anyone else like grouse with marmite?
