Grossglockner Pass (1 Viewer)

Hi, anyone done this pass, I read that it's not recommended with a MH over 3.5t on ordinary brakes? If you have done it, which approach did you take and any advice greatfully received, thank you

We came that way from S to N last year.
Pretty interesting!!!! Had no dramas.
Our 1995 Iveco is 2.2M wide 6M long and 4.2T. Brakes were not an issue, just use lots of engine braking and take it easy. There are some very narrow sections including tunnels.

I have just come back from there we stayed at helibuiet nice campsite as for braking just take your time come down. The right gear and your brakes will do the job stunning views

Thank you very much, will have to get there one day, didn't go that way this year in the end as weather was coming in and wouldn't have seen anything! (Maybe a good thing, but I'll probably have my eyes shut coming down )
