I've developed a grinding noise when I turn, it seems to be louder when I turn to the right. It disappears if I put the clutch pedal down when turning. I'm thinking CV joint and not wheel bearing as no noise when driving straight ahead. Am I on the right track?
Oops should have added, it's a 2006 Peugeot Boxer

Just changed disks and pads 6 months ago. Haven't done any heavy braking on them.

as pappajohn said its most likely to be Wheel bearings. Jack it up and check you will probably feel and hear the grinding .

If you can't identify the problem. I would suggest taking it to a reputable tyre place or garage and getting them to look at it for you.
Should be free to diagnose/quote.

When it comes to suspension, steering and brakes I don't mess around and prefer expert advice.
