Like many others I got a bit tired of waiting for the grey water tank to empty so have fitted a 40mm pipe with full bore valve. The flange is mounted on the underside of the tank so no lip inside. It is obviously lower than the original outlet but still well above the rear axle so unlikely to get knocked.
Away next week so proper test then!

Very impressed with the project. One thing, your spare wheel cover looks drum skin tight. All I can find are ones that look and fit like Nora Batty's stockings. Not quite the right impression I'm trying to portray, driving onto a pitch dragging the baggy wheel cover along the deck is not . Not quite but it feels that way. So my ? is. please point me in the right direction for a 16" steel wheel.;)

I did similar, but do think you could do with the valve closer to the outer edge of MH to reach it without having to kneel on ground 👍

What diameter was it before ?

Your ball valve will anyway be 32mm inside (BV internals are always one size down inside) you'd need a 50mm BV to have a 42mm internal but i assume even at 32mm it will drain much faster than before.

Hi, thanks for your replies,
Would have been ideal to have the valve closer to the edge but didn't want the outlet too close, so a compromise!
The original outlet was about 25mm but the valve had a restriction in it down to about 12 mm. The new ball valve opens fully to the full diameter of the pipe, 40mm, I guess that is why it is quite bulky.

P.S. Can’t remember where I got the tyre cover from - think I just searched eBay/Amazon with the tyre dimensions until I found a matching size!

Ours has a, something like, 40mm outlet fixed but whilst waiting on it finishing it's a great time to catch up with others in the queue!:whistle2::giggle:
