Nothing wrong with that,It's better than letting it go down the road. (y)

Whenever we get close to a hosepipe ban, every "B-rate" celebrity gardener and water company spokesperson are on the TV telling us that used bathwater and washing up water is the ideal stuff to keep are lawns green and to stop our plants from wilting.

On several German sites we visit the ONLY acceptable way to dispose of your grey is on the surrounding vegetation !

but what about the bits of dead skin etc. that will be in your grey water?

Well given that 80%+ ( from memory ) of dust in a house is caused by human skin, I reckon most of us are eating some bits of others of us at some stage ( urrrrghhhh !! But true !! )

Mummy is in the bathroom

Mummy.. please hurry, I need the toilet

Billy, you will have to hold it ..

But mummy..... its urgent

WAIT Billy ..

Oohh oooo mummy.. I cant hold it any longer

OK ( sigh ) Go to the kitchen, pull up a chair and go it the sink..

Ok Mummy

5 minutes later..

Mummy..

Yes Billy, what now ? !

Can you pass out the toilet paper ?

In the hose pipe ban of the early 80' s I diverted all our household waste water to garden irrigation. Any human waste has nitrogen content which all plants need. Coming from farming stock we regularly diverted the waste suckers to drop their contents on our fields for crop food. Excellent results every time. !
