Anybody got a RollerTeam (Pegaso)?
Last time I had a newbie's problem this forum sorted it within 15 mins (thanks to that lady!).
Next question.......the grey waste empties from deep under the motorhome. Fine for a dump station on site but what about if none available? Can't use the usual bucket and carry.
What do people do?

You would never suggest to dump on site I know!!! ?

You could extend the pipe so it exits nearer the outside of your unit.

You can buy not too expensive flat waste containers that slide under the van where a bucket wouldn't fit.

Thank you both. I'd half thought of doing both ideas. Think I may make a trip to the dealer for an extension pipe.....that sounds easiest! Unless others know better?

We've just bought a Pegaso, handover is on the 25th. We have the Collapz extendable grey waste pipes with an adjustable connector.

Someone give us a jerry can type thing with hole on the side and top. Bit more compact than the wheelie type above and probably not a lot thicker. Mean a few trips though

We also have a 3m pipe to extend out the back which is easiest if you are near a waste point

While on the subject, If not on a site where are you allowed to dump grey waste?

If you fit a flexible plastic pipe from the waste tap to the side of the MH you can have as much 'wriggle' room as you like when emptying the tank.

Attach the pipe to the tap with a metal hose clip and the other end of the pipe to the skirt with a spring steel U shaped clip.

This allows you to easily unclip the pipe and point it at the waste grate - the longer the pipe the better.

Plastic pipe can be bought at Aquarium shops and other outlets.

Did mine and cost about a fiver for all the pieces and now gives me about 6 foot of wriggle room - easy peasy.

As long as it's GREY.. in the bushes.. It feeds the greenery, the ants, worms, etc., hence they feed the birds, who feed the cats, (but don't tell steve 6644 ), who feed the dogs, who.. well you know the rest..

Grey waste is just soapy water to my mind and I use my washing up water at home to water my garden... water meter miser.

Look at 21.5mm overflow pipe and fittings. It's much cheaper than anything MH related at about 2 quid a length ?

Or just leave the grey waste tap open all the time, saves you having to worry about emptying it in the 1st place (y) (y)

I normally save mine up and chuck directly over the cats, win win (y) (y)

Our old Miller was the same, but just to add to the issue the outlet was massive so not easy to attach a pipe to.
I got a large plastic cap and a screw 45 degree threaded waste connector from the plumb supplies
Made a hole in the cap, attached the bend to it and used that to put my pipe on to ( got the pipe from a fish pond suppliers )

Just stop for a tea break in the nearest layby with a drain... ?
In extremis I use street drains, directing the grey water straight into it, not running along the gutter.
At my house (built 1889) my road drains and my sink, bathroom and rain water all go into the same main sewer pipe. I used to have a soakaway for rainwater which frequently overfilled but when the utility workmen had to repair/relay my drains they rerouted the rainwater into the main sewer drainage.

When on on sites that have a Grey Water dump I use a 2 inch 5 Metre flat hose and dump in the bushes.

Emptying Grey water around the hedgerows, was official practice on CC Rally's back in the 60`s. (as was digging elsan pits and backfilling on Sunday Night!.)

Another use for hoover tubes. (y)
Wonder if I could ditch the old hairdryer tube running of the hot air blown system and just use one of these for both wouldn't tell the misses though she gets a bit funny about drying her hair:devil:(y)

We just dump in the hedgerow but we do dump every day. I wouldn't fancy dumping 4 days worth in a hot spell in summer. It does also depend on what you put in the tank ours is mainly shower water and we wipe all the plates and pans before washing to get the grease of

Good lord don't use a hoover tube, the internals are not smooth bore, that pipe will be a gunge magnet..
You can get flexible smooth bore pipe online..
This is what I purchased..
I cut that length into about a 3m and a 2m piece, one for dropping the tank on site where the MH point is close and the longer length for "watering the garden" when I get home. :D
