What's mad about it? Our van has a similar arrangement so easy to pipe the grey into a hedgerow. instead of on a road.:thumb::thumb:

He is doing more harm than he knows, its been the norm for a long time to see American RV, s piped up like that on fully serviced pitches, its bad for them too, it results in heavy bottom build up of fatty depositsthat can if allowed to build up block the drain of point completly.
RV, s are recomended when piped up like that to keep drain closed, allow tank to fill normally then release contents to get the all important WOOSH factor required to clear the bottom of the wast tank
Dribble emtying is bad for your tanks that includes the road dribblers:Doh:
