After the last year we've all had, like many we've become somewhat down and despondent. Groundhog day after day. And dare I say that even MotorhomeFun has become a bit samey with limited subjects being repeated and no travel stories to raise our spirits. Having said that, the forum is almost always a good place to pass some time and it's good to see so many new members set to enjoy the lifestyle.
Now we have the vaccine and The Roadmap, some tentative dates of release. Members, including us, are booking trips. Even the mention of UK destinations seems exciting.
The sun is shining and we dare to daydream. Life is looking up. And, yes, I think that strange thing I'm feeling is excitement and it feels goooood.

I felt like that and I do wish it was the 23rd of March and not Feb as that would seem so much closer , but try and be positive At least this way it should be the last time we have to do this and things should get better and better ?
Have you booked the Malvern show ?

Kicked the owd ambulance up this morning, air suspension took a while to fill up and seat belt light on ( what's new) but a bit of backwards and forwards, and a twiddle under the seat, and lo and behold, all warning lights off , brakes not seized on, so we are pretty much ready for off as soon as it lifts

away from this club, I am involved with our local C&CC DA and we are scrambling to get our calendar back on track. We are able to hold rallies from 12th of April. This misses Easter, but our sites officer has got loads of rallies pre-booked. A few have already been bounced to next year as the farmer/land owner had to prioritise making money so have planted crops etc

However, overall it is looking like this will be a very busy camping year. Loads and loads of new caravan and motorhome owners and young families with tents looking to experience our lifestyle. Will probably be a bumper year of new members on Fun too

Yes I booked up a few weeks back as it’s local to us and I didn’t want to miss out . Hope it will still go ahead . It’s a long way off so hopefully things will have improved a lot by then

There are a few. We've booked 6 days in the New Forest with Waterside DA (C&CC) at Lymington. Can't wait.

New Forest DA have a rally in the heart of Cranborne Chase at Sixpenny Handley and a now fully booked meet at Moreton club site just down the road from the Bovington tank museum and Lawrence of Arabia's home and near the Dorset Jurrasic coast. If you look about, there is plenty going on

Taxed ours today, was going to wait till 1st April but sod it!

We are off to Cannock Chase tomorrow for a coffee and a run in ours, hasn’t moved in months so I am very excited!
