All the gear, and no idea!
Whilst looking for somewhere flattish (is that a word??) to stick my round sat nag pad (for the sucker thing) I noticed a green plug type thing IN the dashboard at the front of the clipboard (that annoyingly doesn't pop up cos of the airbags I think). Does anyone know what its for??

If you mean the little half dome, it's the sunload sensor for climate control or a/c.

More than toes wet now!
As said, it's a cover for a sensor that may or may not be there.
Removed ours and routed cables for USB and microphone through the hole.

That looks like a manual reset for an alarm or something like that.

You mean I have an alarm??? first thing I knew about it!! Seriously, does any one know if my 2015 Elddis Encore has an alarm???

Do you have the climate control dome (sunload sensor) in addition to this green socket? It's not just that the dome is missing? If you only have manual air conditioning (or no air conditioning) then nothing will be plugged into this, but it should have a cap. I think.

It could be an over-ride for an after-fit alarm or immobiliser ...

Can't say what you have as I'm not psychic (psychotic at times though!).

Have you got any buttons on your fob that you daren't press? :D

Have you got a funny long thin 'key', something like this?

Following on from post #4 above here's ours.
Pic01 shows it in two parts

Pic02 shows the two spring clips on the bottom half (green) that push in to release from the dashboard

From memory, you definitely need to remove the radio and it makes it easier if you remove the dashboard document holder to gain access to the underside of it.

The above is working on the assumption you don't actually have the sensor fitted!
