Green Flag Mayday Rescue opinions please on this breakdown service.

Drove my motorhome onto the grassed area of a site recently with the intentions of reversing back onto the hardcore pitch. as soon as I drove onto the grass I knew I was in trouble, the front end just dipped down as the wheels sank into the sodden ground. :Eeek: Cost me £40 to get a tractor to haul me out.
I do have breakdown cover but it does not cover this type of incident.
Green Flag claim in their advert (Quote; - No extra charge for specialist equipment if your outfit gets stuck on soft ground) sounds good to me.

I learned a cheeky little money saver last year with Green Flag.

I took UK cover out on the camper in March and was advised not to add Euro cover till I was going, then they'd add it on pro rata

Only needed to pay for 1/2 year :roflmto:

I thought that green flag mayday rescue was through the Caravan Club only?

The Caravan Club use Green Flag for their UK breakdown services and it is called Mayday, but you can join Green Flag direct but its not the same cover as the Caravan Clubs

I have Green Flag for the car. They were brilliant last year when my clutch failed in France. Absolutely first rate:thumb:

Out of all the recovery services I have ever paid for, I have to say that Green Flag was always the quickest on attendance and the most helpful

RAC come second but not a close second

and the AA dont rank anywhere with me (sorry)

i would agree AA are very poor. i have RAC through comfort insurance and used them once about 2 years ago they were excellent.
