Just feel I should share how well we have been treated by AA European breakdown service.We left N Ireland last Friday morning to catch our Ferry to France on Friday evening,about 200 miles to Rosslare.After about 150 miles near Wicklow town we had a breakdown.Very frightening,couldn't get a gear on a very busy road,rang the AA within an hour the van was on a lorry and we were on our way to the main Fiat garage.In a short time we were lifted by taxi brought to hire car firm and on our way home in a good size hire car that afternoonThe AA handled everything after that.The van has been fixed (not cheap)we
will now drive to the garage leave the hire car there and continue our journey to France.The cancelation fees and rebooking the ferry is 200 euros more to pay the insurance company will pay that and have sent in the forms this morning.So although we are a bit shaken over the experience the AA have been terrific
