Hi All,
just a recommendation for a great bit of kit, small, not expensive and with a great quality sound - OK, it may not be in the same Bang&Olfson bracket but for the money it's excellent.
Plays great music via Bluetooth, micro SIM and twins up as a good hands free system as it has a mike too. Has internal rechargeable battery that lasts in excess of the 5 hrs stated.

Hope it helps,

I bought one recently and I agree, they are perfect for the motorhome with surprisingly good sound quality. The bluetooth works from a good distance away too :thumb:

Thanks Trikeman, that's just what I've been thinking about for the motorhome. I've taken a punt and ordered one. :thumb:

Having recommended the same item on here a few months ago I can only agree

I've fitted one inside a 1955 portable radio's empty case so I now have a genuine retro radio capable of FM, Bluetooth, Micro SD MP3 playback, with audio lead input and USB connections. It connects to Bluetooth from two rooms away even inside a radio case with a metal lid on it.

The only thing that takes a bit of getting used to is managing all the functions from the one switch, for example FM channel scan.

Trikeman: Does yours have the oriental voice that chips in to let you know when the battery is low?

Yep, we use ours in the MoHo for background music and we mounted ours with some double sided on the drawer box so uses the drawers as the 'amplifier' for great base.:thumb:

Trikeman, Fully agree. We have had one for a year now. Still performs brilliantly and does last ages without recharge.:thumb:

My van head unit is bluetooth otherwise :thumb:

I've been thinking of changing our base unit to a bluetooth one, but at this price it's a no brainer (especially as Liz now has an iPhone). And a good tip there too to stick in on a drawer unit.:thumb:

Bluetooth speaker

I bought one last year after seeing the one my granddaughter had let me see her "new" addition !! was suitably impressed so bought too.
Great wee piece of kit, umpteen people asked me where I purchased it from and how does work !!
Also can use it to listen to the radio.

or you could get one of these for your existing head unit if you have a jack input on it.

Since May 05 (Ex Tuggers).
Thanks Trikeman.

I had one of these before, but the Bluetooth facility wouldn't pair up, so I sent it back.

I too have had a punt again though, as I thought the sound quality was excellent. I've also bought one of these from the same buyer for the new (ish) electric bike, so I know just how far I've got to pedal back, when the bike battery runs flat. :ROFLMAO:

Cheers,

Jock.

I'm intrigued by the base. It has an indent for a mobile SIM, it also has a mike.

I wonder that it does in another life ?
