We were in need of some R&R and purely by luck found this little site in the acsi CC book called Camping Maisonneuve situated in St Jory De Chalais in the rolling countryside.
On arrival we were approached by a lady with a big smile and lots of enthusiasm who greeted us in English and and offered information about the area and the site .We chose a nice shaded pitch which was great in the heatwave we have been having . There is a restaurant on site offering good home cooking also run by the campsite owners . There is also a small pool . The only thing when choosing your pitch is that the EHU are few and far apart so a long lead might be required . Great place for chilling for a few days or longer.
