Do any members intend to go to the Great Dorset Steam Fair
We are thinking of going this year and wondered if anyone intended to organise a meet there

Hi, We normally go for two days, but unfortunately can only go for a day this year. It is great fun, very tiring on the feet, but well worth it. Be warned, however, that last year the organisers put the"travellers" camp site right next to the normal folks campsite and strangely enough a lot of outside furniture got nicked!! The average age of the security guards seemed to be about 16 so they were about as much use as a chocolate teaspoon.

Apart from that it is a wonderful experience, especially at night when all the showmans engines are steamed up and gleaming. Take your levelling blocks though as the sites tend to be on the side of a hill.
