Yesterday was the Blue Day. It seemed grey to me. Today is a grey day. A Grade A grey day. Tomorrow is due to be a grey day, and so on. Sigh ...

What I'd like is a young blonde to whisk me off to Spain or Portugal in her motorhome for a few weeks.

If it's a nice van, she needn't even be blonde. Grey would do, if it's a very nice van. (Meet you at the top of the road, if I can find where she put my passport.)

The lady wife? She doesn't want to go .... sigh ...

Is that being grey-ist?

Probably just the one shade would be enough for me to handle.

I meant to say that I'm willing to pay half the cost of the ferry. With Brittany Ferries you seem to pay half the cost of the ferry anyway.
