Any Funsters going to the Caravan Club West Wales rally on the Gower at Horton (near Port Eynon) 21-26 August? Great location with heated pool,restaurant, good value live entertainment (optional extra), easy walk to the beach & only £63 for 5 nights! Although this is not our local rally group they have been very friendly & welcoming over the phone. It is our first rally with the CC & we might be odd ones out as likely to be mostly caravans so wondered if anyone motorhomers out there are also planning to bring a little Fun to the rally We will be flying the Fun flag anyway & might encourage a few new members They still have space available: see http://westwalescc.webplus.net/62ndwelshnational.html

Also public bus service (stops nearby) to Rhossili & Oxwich bay is running over the bank holiday weekend if one beach isn't enough!

Hi Chris & Viv - that's great - at least 2 lots of Funsters! No EHU on our allocated pitch (been sent no. 165) but some do have a payable metered supply although perhaps those pitches were allocated to those with most need earlier on? Anyone else joining us? Great value & looks like a lovely area. Look out for our motorhome with the Funster sticker & the Womble (see photo) in the window as the high winds at Malvern & seeing poles broken put us off buying one this time but will be spreading the word about Motorhome Fun to anyone that will listen!
