As someone who had lots of young Goths sleeping over all over my lounge when my daughter was growing up, and being dragged round a huge warehouse Goth Sales room in Manchester regularly .... it doesn't HAVE to be just black.

Flashes or purple, blood red, bright pink (YEAH!!!!:thumb are also allowed.

Cross Butts Restaurant

Just next door to Broadings farm is a hotel & restaurant "Cross Butts with Stable Restaurant"
with a lovely menu, I have printed one if anyone interested,also Sunday lunch, you will need to book with them if interested in eating there, have a look on their website, looks very nice and prices are reasonable!!

We are still planning to have a run out there on the Saturday to say hello, I presume there will be no problem just parking up on the field for an hour or so?

God Im confused now, Bob said there is a romantic fish and chip dinner overlooking Whitby harbour with champagne on offer.
He said there would be a chauffeur driven Bentley to take the winners there, and a romantic horse and carriage back followed by a night in a top spa resort next to the campsite....

He told me this at the Royal Wedding meet, after a few beers.:thumb:

Getting there!!

Well we had what can only be described as an 'interesting' journey last night.

But we did make it up to Tadcaster where we stopped for the night in a cheap c/l.
Have decided now that it is definately unsuitable for the larger rigs. The entrance to the site is quite small and involves a hairpin turn off of a dual carraigway.
We are travelling with smudger and he has his trailer on his rv, so had to go past junction, find a suitable place to un hitch his trailer and put on my Landrover. We then went round and had a second attemp.
I travelled behind smudger and when we got close to the entrance i sat in the middle of the dual carraigeway with big flashy orange light, stopping the traffic so smudger could use the right hand land to give him room to turn into the drive.
Once on the drive there is a bit of a drop so the rear of the rv touched down too.
Just in the process of cooking breakfast then we will be on our way to Broadings Farm,
YO21 1TL.

Just seen the weather for tomorrow over Whitby, there is this silly wet looking cloud hanging over us.....
Best would be to bring bread tray mats if you have them as surface is a little slippy...

Wow what fantastic views from this site on top of a hill.....
