Always learning.
Right, just picked our new purchase( used MH),,after an extensive handover, which was brilliant and informative, and like having my first lesson in Quantum Physics,,I asked shed loads of questions which I’d written down,,,,however, and this is where I need your help,,,The Green power button on the Main power unit.,,, when exactly should it be turned on and off? I have got ALL the manuals, and am working my way through,,but the above question is in my head and I’d like to deal with that one,,,thanks for all your help,,cheers.

According to Sargent it should be off when you plug into the 240v hook-up then turned on.

Make sure you do remember to turn it on when you are plugged in tho, or you’ll be using your leisure battery and not the PSU.

I have a CBE system and I’ve never turned my charger off, I just plug-in and it’s on....I’ve never checked what my manual says about it, but have so far had no problems 🤞🏻

It’s for the 240v charger that powers the van on hook-up.....when you unplug it will go off regardless of if you’ve turned it off.

Thanks for that,,(y)
No problem....pop the kettle on in the van and have a cuppa while you play👍🏼

Sargent also say leave the black system isolate switch on when driving.

As I said I leave my charger switch turned on all the time (it’s remote to the control panel and in a cupboard). I know that if I turned it off to plug in and out....I’d forget to turn it back on once on site.
