Spent the weekend in the van visiting my brother in Chesterfield, we had a meal in the pub on Saturday night got home this morning, just put my key in the door and I get a text from him saying he has tested positive for Covid (He's a male nurse) Did a test myself and I have it again too. Just got a bit of a runny nose and nasty headache so I suppose I should be grateful.

Gina.

There were 10 of us around the table and just me and my brother have tested positive, but we were hugging and kissing each other a lot as we haven't seen each other for a while:h:

That also put you at risk of catching 'monkey pox' although I think to catch that you have to engage in the next stage from hugging and kissing.

I think the risk must be really small without sexual contact or it wouldn't be restricted largely to one part of the population. I suspect it's being used by some parts of the press as an excuse to spread fear of gay people.

I hope you both get over it with mild symptoms. Hopefully it’s building up your immune system every time you have had it.

Hope you don't get any worse and have a quick recovery, all the best.

We are just getting over our first ever bout of Covid. Managed to keep well until last week.We have been pretty careful about mixing in too large a group.Went on holiday to Wales with Brother-in-law. Girls decided they wanted to play bingo.Went to a local football club for The night. It was pretty rammed. No windows open.Three days later we all tested positive 😐 .We all have had a terrible week.Just tested negative.Got to wait now before we can get our booster.

Son side steeped it …..until now, and he’s having it hard.

He went to a Rugby match with friends, needed to use The Tube for travel……. 🤦‍♂️

Don't know about anyone else with Covid but my blood pressure is high 155/90. Feeling rubbish today.

I think i may have caught it in early July as I felt really rough for a couple of weeks and my sister tested positive, I just isolated myself, not hard being a full timer. I had my 4th jab yesterday with the new omicron jab, spikevax I think it's called and its really tired me out I only just woke up at 11:30.

I also caught it at the weekend when I went away with work colleagues, feeling terrible today and I'm just so busy I can't waste time being ill but I've had to take today off.

Go back too soon and you'll be even busier because your colleagues will be off with it

It's the first time I've had it as far as I know I didn't even catch it when the wife had it last year. I thought I was probably immune.

Some people have no symptoms at all, my friends wife had it and was fairly unwell but he also tested positive but had absolutely no symptoms at all. It effects different people differently.
Quite so thats why I said as far as I know. That being said for ages I was testing twice a week for work so it's fairly certain I didn't have it then

Hope you all get better soon.
We've both had bad coughs, headaches and generally feeling rough for a week but still testing negative. We're due for the booster vac. in three weeks. Not sure what to do about it if we still keep testing negative.

I think tell them at the vaccination centre. As long as you're negative I suspect they'll still do it.

I had an email and text last week from the NHS inviting me for my 4th jab as I am considered "vulnerable"

Been trying to book mine for a while, but couldn’t get one within a reasonable distance. Literally just logged on again……booked for number 4, less than a mile away, tomorrow morning. Bargain! (y)
