Got a free autoroute short travel. (1 Viewer)

We made a slight mistake (it's slight if I make it) and got onto the peage outside gerona. Picked up our ticket. Went 8 kms. Came off. Presented ticket. Wife hanging through open door and window to pay. Suddenly barrier raised and no money put in. I did shout "hold on we are going" as I wheels pun away causing her to stub her toe. (Remember this might have saved money)
So the question is. Can you get on and off at 1 junction without paying or are some bypasses to major towns free ?

I am a complete novice when it comes to using these paying motorways

We had the same thing happen a couple of years ago.
Can’t remember where we were though but it might have been in Spain.

I think you are just trying to confuse us, Gerona is in Spain and you only get Autoroutes in France.

I blame the autoroute thing on my predictive text therefore only a "slight" error (please refer to op)
