Recently reinstalled Google Earth, since when it crashes my tablet each time I open the programme via the app. Tablet goes immediately into "auto boot"......... any ideas?

Maybe check that you have enough memory. Lots of applications like this sit in memory compacted and then are unpacked to run. They seem not to take up a lot of space but need a lot of free space when they are running.

The 'cut back' version for android is crap anyway.

No GPS co-ords, no street view, no tilt view etc.

Apologies...just found street view.

Must be some map updates done recently.

Previously the camera car hadnt been up our dead end road but now it has and our RV can be seen....and we have street view.
sadly not the house though, as the images are just before and just after our drive proper.

Google Earth always was very resource hungry. The new Google Maps appears to have gone the same way. Works fine on my 64 bit Windows 7 laptop, but my desktop PC has the 32bit version of Win 7 & the new maps runs for a few minutes then crashes Firefox.
