As some have mentioned regarding refillable gas and solar, it is worth giving careful thought to how you'll use your van. Mostly spring/summer/autumn or depths of winter also? Staying mostly at campsites with hook-up, or aires and wild camping?

We've been travelling the continent for 8 years in three different vans and have managed comfortably without either. We use campsites a lot, but not averse to aires or wilding whilst en route somewhere. Standard equipment in van copes adequately.

However, we are now planning to get refillable gas, because we are planning future trips longer than 5 weeks.

Good luck with your new van and hope you enjoy many great adventures.

Oh, and :welcome3: to the forum! (y)
