Coming back on the M3 on Saturday a Volvo estate overtook us and cut back in quite sharply (I can never understand why people do this?) chucking up a stone which made a 13mm bullet type chip on the lower part of the windscreen on the driver's side.
We got the go ahead to have it repaired and rang the AA Windscreen service on Monday who told us they would be out between 2 - 6 and would ring when they were about 20 minutes away. This they did, the very nice Mr AA man was with us for about 45 minutes, did an excellent repair, did the paperwork and told us they would sort it all out now with our insurers. This has cost us nothing.
Credit where it is due, ready to complain about bad service but like to congratulate good service.
