You sound surprised JJ? I wouldn't be surpised if the same features weren't in Android and WP phones.

Any device of any make or any type anywhere that connects to the internet is open to that kind of thing. Security software is designed with your average Eastern European criminal in mind, not the NSA or GCHQ who probably have their own backdoors anyway. The "security expert" quoted in that article seemed to be on more of an anti-Apple rant than saying anything new or interesting. The data that Apple probably are collecting will be for marketing and advertising purposes more than anything else, the same as the data that Microsoft and Google (Android) collect from their users.

Mr JJ your right it was operator error
On the purchasers behalf and three for failing to explain
The needs of the phone to the purchaser

Best thing about all these differant devices
It gives all us end users
A reason to talk and compare the devices
And purchase the one that best suits our needs

apple suits me but my needs are differant to others
    :):):)
