Hi all, after dreading the 5th year age change of cam belt guidance my Weinsberg Pepper Edition with a Peugeot 2.0 130BHP Blue engine was due.
After phoning around Hillmans Motors, Corfe Mullen, Wimborne, Dorset called back to inform me that the engine fitted to my vehicle DOES NOT need cambelt changed at 5 years but is 120 months or 90,000 miles which ever comes first. Wow what a relief.
Can't praise this garage enough, others I had phoned quoted £580 plus advised water pump change.
Checked at Peugeot main dealer and it is correct.
Now have MOT, Road TAX, LV insurance.
NO habitation check as out of warranty this year and local checker does not call back so checked myself with damp meter + pressure drop checked the gas.
Now ready to go travelling.
