We were struggling to find anything to watch and we stumbled across a documentary called The Biggest Little Farm on Netflix.
Best thing we’ve watched in ages really good!

Lots but slow learner.
A 5* film just watched.
Not a punch thrown
Not a swear word to be heard
Not a shot fired
Not a car crash anywhere
Not a boob to be seen

"OILDALE"

I dare you to watch it.
Note, have tissues ready....................................for the tears you dirty minded buggers.

On Prime.

yes! Yes!! YES!!!

Today, in a Charity shop in God's waiting room (Budleigh Salterton, Devon)

After a search lasting years, I came across an unopened, unused copy of;

Jean de Florette and Manon de Source.

May the flies of a thousand camels crawl up the ar5e of whoever it was I lent my original copy to all those years ago and who didn't return it.

I'm not letting this one go.

Just watched "The Father" on Prime starring Anthony Hopkins. A well deserved Oscar for him. Not an easy watch and brings a tear to your eye, but an absolutely superb film dealing with Alzheimer's and the impact on a daughter.

Is Oppenheimer really that good? I've tried watching it the last 2 nights but after 40 mins I am happy to fall asleep. It doesn't half jump around timeline wise. A long film so I am presuming it will get better. Can anyone confirm?

Brilliant film! I'm sure, many years ago, I saw a follow up with same location, cannot remember what it was called!

Yes it is, yes it does 👍. I’ve just watched All Quiet on the Western Front, another great and disturbing film.

The Duellists is one of my favourite all-time films. Looking forward to his Napoleon film just released.

Watched a couple of Bodies on Netflix, we fell asleep.. 🤔 Maybe that's why it's so called.. The audience are like dead bodies, asleep 😆

It takes a while to get in to it as it's set over 3 timelines. But it's worth it

Apologies if it is already on here, but just watched a lovely little Irish film called Poster Boys (on Prime at the moment). One of the stars is a battered old Frankia motorhome which makes it particularly relevant to this forum.
