    C&CC members too!

:thumb: After I emailed Carefree, the C&CC travel company, they phoned me to say they will match that offer, so C&CC members can get the same rate on DFDS through Carefree!! :thumb:

A code for booking is not supplied by the Caravan Club but you havE to be a member. Book through the Ferry section of the C C website.

There is a code that can be used:

    E13EBO

Valid until 14 January, I believe.

Our van is 5.99m and I was able to find loads of fares late spring for £56 return, with two passengers.

The show offer from DFDS is usually better than this and is fully flexible for an anytime or day booking with no charges for amendments. It needs to be booked during the show but not at it, you can do it on line with the show code. Website for show if you want to go is http://www.springcaravanandcampingshow.co.uk/page.cfm/Action=ExhibList/ListID=1/letter=D/loadSearch=17973_327
We will no doubt go and have a browse but others usually beat me in posting the booking code you need, Dates are19th to 24th Feb. so not that long to wait.

I think you will find that offer does not cover Motorhomes.

I've seen this discussed on another forum, but it certainly worked for mine. And for many others I believe.

Use this link - just tried it - motorhome up to 10m and 4.35m high - from £28 each way = £56 return. Out 15 May, back 12 June 2013.

I just tried it with a MH as stated but look carefully, once verified the vehicle is changed to 1.85 x 4.5. NO LONGER A MOTORHOME!

Thanks for spotting and highlighting that.
Looks like the offer through the CC or the C&CC is the one to go for then!

    Sincere apologies.

I had been trawling the ferries for a deal myself. I have noted that my dog is £15 each way with P & O, but with DFDS, no charge to France, but £30 on return to UK? Seems DFDS out and P & O return?

Tell me that you haven't booked that £28 offer for your MH !

No, thankfully - although I was lined up to, but because the code lasted for another 12 days, and there appeared to be loads of availability at £56, I'd hung back from completing.

Although embarrassed, I'm genuinely pleased you pointed out that rather critical change to the vehicle classification after entering the code, which I hadn't seen.

It's £88 return without the discount code, but as we're members of the C&CC I will probably see what they can do (somebody has mentioned they'd match the CC half-price offer).
