It was announced this morning that all adults should be vaccinated by June.
That would be great. I have my doubts though whether we will have the vaccine supplies.

I don't think the supply will be the problem because we have already put the orders in. With new vaccines coming on stream from different Co.s, and with the 'farming out' of capacity, I feel the hardest part will be to keep the impetus up in jabbing folk month after month.

Personally I think people are not thinking straight you might have been vaccinated but you can still pass it on. So you should not start mixing and travelling willy nilly possibly giving some people a good dose of COVID.

Have you been to that fairly new steak place that opened up on the canal just by the Aire in Gravelines L’Eclusier?

Meant to go in spring but then lockdown happened.

We’ve been a couple of times. We really like the place. Great food lovely setting, particularly if you can book a table outside looking along the canal. Dogs are allowed outside not sure about inside. We generally stay at Gravelines on the way out and way back.

Yeah , fantastic place, went for Julie,s birthday in July, not cheap though, you wouldn't want to be going every night. (y)

Since 2016 and caravanning before that
With Sandwichgate on the Dutch border and the lack of vaccinations in the EU even if we are all vaccinated I can't see European governments letting us in if the vaccine only protects but doesn't stop transmission. We desperately want to go to France but we're not really thinking about it. Just hope we can get away in this country and that the couple of Folk Festivals that were paid for last year go ahead in this one. We've also got outstanding tickets for Peterborough but really only want to go if the evening entertainment is on. This time of year we are normally planning and booking but there doesn't seem much point.
Sorry I'm being negative but now on my second furlough so feeling a bit down

Lots but slow learner.
Sod Euroland just get me on the first flight to Australia to rent a RV and get on them open roads again. But think Euro will let us in before Aussie so it will have to do, hopefully from about April.

Was the steak good?

I have had lovely steak in the South of France and the French Alps but awful tough stringy stuff elsewhere.
Very good, you can choose your meat from the fridge, all different breeds.
But to be honest we had the basic "house" steak and it was fine.
