It is a really good feeling when you have just bought your first motorhome, and can't wait to get out in it.
We have just changed our insurance, got several quotes from Safeguard, Saga, KGM (sister Co to Safeguard) and RH Specialist, but we found that Saga was the best quote, £246.43 includes UK & EU breakdown and legal fees. Cheaper than our old company.

Hope you have FUN

Oh Fantastic! I suspect your last thought before you go to sleep every night will be about your next trip. Happy travelling!

Your insurance quote sounds very reasonable. I paid £296 with insurance choice this year, although that is for 4 members of the family to drive.

Hi and welcome to the fun. I bet you are really excited. If you take up your insurance with Insurance Choice, dont forget to ask them for your 10% Funsters Discount.

As for Breakdown cover we are with the RAC Arrivals Scheme. You need to be a member of the C&CC to be able to get cover but imo its a really good service. This may cut down the quotation from your Insurance Company.

Happy Travels.

Well done! We have Elddis on our hire fleet, and they are pretty robust vans!

Check your model for recalls by going to VOSA and checking there. The main thing on that model is the fuel rail which can fail. It was a recall, so just make sure it was done! Don't worry - you won't catch fire or anything, it will just leak!

Make sure your insurance has ALL windows covered - the side ones are seitz, fairly big and fairly expensive to replace. Sounds like you have a good deal though!

Enjoy, and many happy trips ahead! :thumb:
