- New to Motorhome, experienced caravanner
Highland council have introduced Motorhome parking at a few sites across the North of Scotland.
We stayed in Golspie for one night and thought it was an excellent place to stay.
The wording on the meter sign was a bit ambiguous though…..”you are invited to pay….” It’s suggested £10 for 24 hours for a Motorhome. We paid, but husband was less keen to do so
There are 4 spaces, public toilets about a 10 minute walk away. A chippy, Chinese takeaway and pubs all nearby too.
We walked up to the statue on the hill (the Duke of Sutherland, who is known best for his part in the highland clearances).
And the next morning walked along the coastal path to Dunrobin Castle.
